Young Business Leaders to Gather at Houses of Parliament for SME4Labour Event

Young entrepreneurs, business founders and political voices are set to come together in Westminster later this month for an event aimed at spotlighting the role of emerging business leaders in Britain’s economic future.
Organised by SME4Labour, the grassroots group linked to the Labour Party that advocates for small and medium-sized enterprises, the “SME4Labour & Young Entrepreneurs: Shaping Tomorrow” discussion is scheduled for 25 February 2026 in the iconic Jubilee Room at the Houses of Parliament.
Hosted by Lee Barron MP, the session is designed as an open forum for young business owners, innovators and aspiring founders to explore how government, political parties and business networks can better support enterprise and opportunity for the next generation.
The event is free to attend and aims to foster dialogue between policymakers and the youth business community. Participants are encouraged to register in advance, with organisers emphasising that the meeting will offer a chance to “connect, grow and make your voice heard within the Labour movement.”
Speakers and attendees are expected from the UK’s growing small business sector, with discussions likely focusing on challenges facing young entrepreneurs today—including access to capital, skills development, and navigating the regulatory environment in a post-Brexit economy.
SME4Labour has increasingly positioned itself at the intersection of politics and enterprise, advocating for policies that aim to empower small firms and champion the interests of founders in national policymaking. The organisation’s events often draw a mix of political figures and business leaders, reflecting a broader effort to bridge the gap between economic policy and grassroots business growth.
