From Network to Influence: The Growth of SME4Labour as the SME Sector’s Key Advocate
SME4Labour has grown in recent years into one of the most visible voices for small and medium-sized enterprises within the Labour movement. It was created to close a clear gap: many SME owners felt they were rarely heard in national politics, even though their businesses form the backbone of the UK economy. SME4Labour set out to change this by building a structured link between entrepreneurs, small business owners and the Labour Party, so that policy makers could better understand the realities of running a small or medium business in the UK.
